Clare O'Malley is an internationally acclaimed Irish actress and songwriter whose career spans major stage and screen productions across Europe and the United States.

She recently starred as Agnes Mundy in the 2025 production of Dancing at Lughnasa, directed by Joe Dowling at Asolo Repertory Theatre. A formidable presence on both sides of the Atlantic, Clare’s New York stage credits include Philadelphia, Here I Come!, The Plough and the Stars, and Pumpgirl—a performance praised by The New York Times as "one of the year's most astonishing." In her native Ireland, she has graced the stages of the nation's most prestigious venues, including The Abbey Theatre, The Gate Theatre, and The Gaiety.

On screen, Clare has established a strong international footprint with credits including Creed (MGM), Distemper, and Isolathuns.

As a multi-hyphenate creator and musician, she wrote and performed the Off-Broadway solo show Transatlantic Living and has performed on the Eurovision stage in Baku, Azerbaijan. Her debut EP, New Heights (2025), alongside her single The Collector, are available on Spotify, iTunes, and all major streaming platforms.

The granddaughter of poet Thomas Kinsella and Lyric Theatre Belfast founder Mary O'Malley, Clare carries forward a profound theatrical and literary legacy.
